Energy and Environmental Law

Consultant/Trainer: Nicol Cadenau Gates

The Petrogenium (in collaboration with EPTS) Energy and Environmental Law participants in this course will gain a thorough understanding of legal and practical developments in energy and environmental law, even without prior experience in the field. They will learn about the main areas of environmental law, legal developments related to fossil fuels, nuclear power, and the growth of green technologies, and will be introduced to the international energy industry and its regulatory frameworks. The course provides foundational knowledge of energy policy, environmental impact assessments, compliance with energy and environmental laws, climate change mitigation strategies, renewable energy sources, and sustainable development practices.
