Robert has worked 35 years in various roles with core reservoir engineering skills with Shell, Conoco and Schlumberger. He has a deep and broad understanding of the EP business and operations in the upstream oil and gas industry in West & East Europe, Middle East, Scandinavia, West Africa, Gulf of Mexico and SE Asia. At various levels he was involved in green- & brown- fields, appraisal, exploration, production optimisation, WRFM and field development planning, with a focus on cost effective implementation of development activities. He has developed a strong technical, operational and business leadership track record in a diverse range of offshore and onshore assets at all stages of maturation, including heavy/light oil, condensate and gas fields, clastic and carbonate reservoirs, depletion, water drive and enhanced recovery methods. Recently as head of Resource Reporting, he has integrated and maintained a sharp focus on key business, assurance, compliance for the Shell Group. ​
