Richard has over thirty years of process and project engineering experience mainly in LNG, upstream and downstream oil and gas, synthetic fuels, and other energy sectors, with owner’s team roles on several mega projects including two major international LNG projects, GLNG (for Santos) and Mozambique LNG (for Anadarko), as well as the Mossgas (now PetroSA) GTL facility. Other recent projects include LNG bunkering, marine terminals for DEG and canola oil (rail offloading, storage, and ship loading), waste to biogas to RNG facilities, and fire fighting system design.

Richard is proficient in various roles including process engineering, plant start-up, commissioning management, project engineering, and project management.

Richard has vast experience with working in various phases of projects including feasibility studies, conceptual studies, FEED studies, detailed engineering, EPC construction support, commissioning support & management, plant optimization & debottlenecking, plant troubleshooting, and operations support.

In 2022 Richard joined Petrogenium as Principal Consultant LNG.
