John’s technical expertise for Shell’s assets, included delivering commercially competitive performance across a broad spectrum of roles, including Technology & Production Management, Process Engineering, Strategy, HSSE, Performance Analysis, Carbon/Greenhouse Gas & Energy Management, Asset Management Excellence, Product Quality, Fuels Product Management, Process Control and Automation, as well as Projects & Technology. John has demonstrated excellence Manufacturing Excellence as key Greenhouse Gas and Energy Management business focal point and Technology Excellence Lead for Shell’s Manufacturing assets in the Energy Transition receiving a 2020 CEO HSSE & SP Special Merit Award for plastics circularity. John built a world-class Norco Manufacturing Complex Process Engineering Team and played a key role in developing site’s growth strategy and cost and margin improvement tactics, including salvaging HCU Reconfiguration, a major growth enabling project.
