Hugo is a passionate Controls & Compliance Manager with many years of experience in Midstream and Aviation Operations developing and improving Controls and Compliance procedures and processes, preparing and executing audits, managing introduction of operational changes, doing Risk Assessments, training of employees and being key senior management contact for all compliance topics. His specific areas of expertise cover the wide range of Controls and Compliance topics with an emphasis on setting up and maintaining a controls environment, ensuring to identify and close identified gaps. Main supporting activities were to plan, prepare and execute regular internal process reviews covering all business processes. These activities included Joint Ventures and other 3rd parties. Hugo has successfully supported and transitioned several organizational changes. He reached his level of expertise whilst working for ExxonMobil Midstream in Germany and Switzerland. Most of the positions he held during his career were in Midstream covering all logistics in Europe as well as global aviation operations. In his various positions he was responsible for keeping the business under control, ensuring that all internal rules as well as external legislations were followed.
