Gareth is a chemical engineer with experience developed from a career in operations and business development of syngas production and processing, synthetic fuel technology development and commercialization, for PetroSA in South Africa.​

Gareth’s roles in the GTL synthetic fuel industry, involved leading teams responsible for developing relationships with commercial and technical partners within the oil and gas sector. The primary focus of these activities has been in the production and processing of Fischer Tropsch synthetic fuels via production of syngas from natural gas.​

Gareth’s wide ranging technical and commercial management experience extends across the full value chain of energy projects including development of strategic business plans, strategic partnerships and joint ventures, upstream investments and synthetic fuel technology development. ​
