Crude Oil Desalting

Consultant/Trainer: Jelle Bouma

The Petrogenium. Crude Oil Desalting course will guide the participants to develop key knowledge and techniques to select, design, operate and maintain the crude oil desalter in a refinery environment. This key knowledge can be utilized to make optimized design and operating decisions without endangering technical and operational integrity of downstream units. This training gives yourself and your employees the keys to successfully operate and understand the desalting process.

Participants

This Petrogenium. course aims at improving competencies of process technologists, inspection and corrosion engineers and operators, in terms of understanding the basics of crude oil desalting, contaminants to be removed and CDU Overheads corrosion control. It is also possible to benefit from an exclusive technical services arrangement from Petrogenium after the training. Participants can be from diverse spectrum of both young and experienced engineers. The training includes both theoretical and practical hands-on sessions. The training can also be structured to address specific issues faced by a particular refinery / operating unit.
